I've always wished there were more positive Asian women to look up to on American television growing up but unfortunately, Asian roles are slim pickings in Hollywood. But things are slowly changing as more and more Asian women are starring in our favorite TV shows (such as Glee, Nikita, Hawaii Five-O, etc) Now we just have to work on them getting nominated and winning awards :D All da Asian Ladies, All da Asian Ladies, now put your hands up! :P
Jenna Ushkowitz usually opts for very feminine gowns so I was surprised to see her in something different and edgier with this asymetrical Ghadah gown. The Glee girl looked glam and completed the look with a croco printed red clutch and a high Audrey bun.
TV personality Olivia Munn looked very tan and fab in this emerald green Carolina Herrera gown, too bad they forgot to steam it; wrinkles at 6 o'clock!
Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi rocked this Armani Prive gown, the design is nice and fits her like a glove but the gold color didn't make her stand out much since it blended in with her skin color.
Dancing with the Stars' judge Carrie Ann Inaba showed up in a what looks like simple black gown from afar but up close you can see an intricate black floral design, she completes the look with a red clutch for a pop of color.
Best Supporting Actress nominee Archie Panjabi from The Good Wife, opted for this green Angel Sanchez dress with a sweetheart neckline as she kept her hairstyle simple in a slicked back bun and accessorized with a silver clutch.
